More guests tell of “food borne illness” at El Dorado Seaside Suites, Mexico

Further guests are alleging that sickness has blighted their stays at the El Dorado Seaside Suites hotel in Mexico.  This follows reports of visitors being infected with the food parasite Cyclospora earlier in the summer.

Outbreaks of Cyclospora have been reported in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico for the last four years consecutively.   American poster ‘Fauseybear’ took to TripAdvisor to speculate as to the cause of widespread illness in the travelling party:

“8 of the 12 people in our party were sickened by what I would assume is food borne illnesses. e coli was just one of the various maladies that occurred during our stay.”

TUI promote package breaks to the resort and a number of visitors have expressed their dissatisfaction online.

A “Honeymoon nightmare!”, “Poor Customer Service” and guests claiming to have “got parasites” are amongst the most recent reviews returning guests have published on TripAdvisor, warning others “do not go here!”
