Latest Reviews
Holiday Claims Bureau has received reports from travellers indicating an outbreak of illness at a resort, alongside news that a group of holidaymakers has organized on Facebook to voice concerns and potentially gather stories to support compensation claims. These developments coincide with reviews such as Scott W’s on TripAdvisor, where he describes numerous children falling ill with sickness and diarrhoea during their stay, often linked to poor-quality buffet meals.
Similarly, masonandsonroofing1’s review underscores concerns about hygiene standards and the inadequate quality of food, resulting in multiple instances of guests experiencing digestive issues and frequent visits to the restroom. These reviews highlight a growing sentiment of dissatisfaction among recent visitors.
In response to allegations of upset stomachs among guests, the hotel has asserted that such issues can arise from various factors. They have assured guests of their readiness to address health concerns promptly by maintaining a 24/7 clinic staffed with doctors. This proactive measure aims to provide immediate medical assistance to any guests experiencing health-related issues during their stay at the resort.
However, dating back as far as 2017, disgruntled holidaymakers have continued to air their complaints regarding the resort’s food.
In recent months, guests claim to have been served “undercooked food”
“Food was undercooked and had hair matted in the middle of one of the burgers” said Mr Osbourne on TripAdvisor.
“Chicken was undercooked, resulting in both me, my partner and 2-year-old son having food poisoning for two days.
Following a waterslide accident, another guest, Sarah, who travelled to the JazAquaviva resort with her husband, spoke of their experience on TripAdvisor, claiming their stay was “the worst experience ever”
“The first slide for me to wide was the black tunnel covered one” says Sarah
“Me and my husband asked the guy for all the instructions to take and he assured our safety.
“We used the boat that was given, then in the middle of the slide, I suddenly flipped upside down and found myself on my stomach, while my elbow got injured and my swimming suit got ripped.
“I hardly adjusted myself to sit back but unfortunately the boat wasn’t there, neither my husband who flipped as well as and finally we slided without the boat, in a very dangerous situation.
“Guests were so shocked and said this wasn’t the first accident here!” Sarah added.
